Czołpino - a lonely lighthouse in the middle of the dunes. Why is it worth beating the forest trail from the XIX century?

Czolpinskaya lighthouse is a gem of 19th century architecture. Located on a high dune (55 meters above sea level), it was commissioned in 1875. Its distinctive silhouette is massive and made of red brick. Moreover, there are no buildings nearby, which gives it an almost fairy-tale-like appearance.

Due to its location in the heart of the Slowinski National Park, access to the lighthouse is on foot (about 1.5 km from the parking lot). Walking along the trail is an additional attraction, especially for lovers of nature and silence.

It is worth mentioning that the lighthouse was manually operated for many decades. Today it serves an educational function for tourists interested in the history of maritime navigation in the difficult dune terrain.

Jaroslawiec - the oldest lighthouse on the central coast. What does the monumental tower from 1838 hide?

The lighthouse in Jaroslawiec is one of the oldest and highest located on the Polish coast. Its first version was built as early as 1830, but due to poor visibility it was quickly replaced by a taller tower from 1838. Today, the lighthouse measures 33.3 meters and its light, located at 50.2 meters above sea level, has a range of 23 nautical miles.

In the past it was the only landmark for fishermen sailing between Ustka and Darlowo. It also had military significance and was used to observe ship traffic.

It is especially recommended for families with children - the winding staircase leading to the top is an attraction in itself, and the views from the top are breathtaking.
